The Love Winnipeg Strategy
Realizing that some people will not be ready to hear the truth and message of Jesus Christ until they have been surprised, touched and impacted by the love of Jesus Christ, Love Winnipeg participants will find wonderfully creative and impacting ways to love the people of our city. Churches and ministries from around the city will join together to pray and support each other as they prepare for the special two week Love Winnipeg adventure in May and June 2008. The 14 days of outreach will kick off with the Pastor’s Pulpit Exchange and wind up with a huge, city-wide praise party at Calvary Temple on Sunday, June 8th. During the two weeks in between, individual small groups, Sunday School classes, youth groups, men’s and women’s groups and churches will custom-design ways to touch the people of their community with Jesus-powered random acts of kindness.
